I think the borealis pic magic has used looks pretty good

what did you have in mind?
 I pretty much finished the brushwork of the oil rig map

[note] these are just outlines and i have yet to put in more smaller details.
I was thinking they could circle around then land in the front then go down inside where map changes, then when come back outside it changes map back to outside version.

Update: i have put a trigger hurt all around the outside HOWEVER ther might be some spots where i couldnt put trigger hurt. Hammer wontlet m make non square trigger hurts so if smeone outside desnt die youll just have to kick him. There is also a trigger hurt under the map. These all destroy props and kill ppl instantly. I have changed the skybox to custom one from fpsbanana, same one i used in gm_dust. No more hudpaint errors (exept for the rnd sign, i want that to be the same). Anything else im forgetting?

Theres some things i dont like about source engine... LIKE HOW SDK MESSES UP EVERY OTHER DAY RWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR. If everything was dynamic light it would be nice. One thing that i havnt seen in just about any other game is light bounce. Thats what makes source maps look really nice. Also instead of all crisp shadows which look unrealistic there is shadow diffusion however the lightmap technique is painstaking. Shadow mapping utilising this shadow diffusion will be a lot better.
