I know he's getting banned, but ease off a little.
Someone breaking the rules and being unhappy about getting reported isn't a valid excuse to be an asshole to them in response.
The very least you could do is ignore him, so he doesn't get into a flame war and make his situation worse.
As for silent, him modifying his post isn't a reason to want him banned. People were offended and angered by it, so he removed it. Any of you would do the exact same thing, so don't criticize him.
