We're suggesting that we add the OPTION to have a tripcode. Opción, optie, オプション, opcja, opção, opzione, 选项. You can be as anonymous as you want. We want to stop FORCING people to be anon.

He doesn't mean "anonymous should stay anonymous", he means "the anonyboards shoudl stay the anonyboards".
As in he doesn't want any change.

tl;dr: Non-beneficial especially with community so volatile just causes shit storms, nothing productive whatsoever about it if there is give me an example PLEASE.


I just want them gone. All it is, literally all it is, fucking flame threads. It's idiots and assholes criticizing each other. Whether it's because they're either too uncertain of their own beliefs or prefer to hide behind the fact that they're anonymous and display the most barbaric sense of rude in it's pure form, it's stupid. It isn't what we need right now or ever for that matter. I think most of us wouldn't deny the community is at a very volatile place right now. The admins are in a pissing contest with each other, everyone's generally unhappy at admin/vip activity the state of ZS isn't the best, we're on temp servers and feel unsettled, many of our servers aren't available and to top it all off it's the internet so 30% of it's users just like to stir shit. If anyone can give me a LEGITIMATE reason why it helps our community grow and is productive I might reconsider my opinion but I just don't see it benefiting the overall well-being of the community in any way.

Wow, so you'd much rather have everyone keep their mouths shut, and keep a nice and beautiful mask on, and live a fake happiness, than see the truth? You really can't be that naïve.
