Frank, hear me out when I say this.
There are only a handful of a handful of people in the world today that are still human.
Then there are some that died a long, long time ago. Yet their bodies still remain.
Innocence is short-lived sometimes.
I am more den glad dat U value Human life- or even life in general. Rare traits these days.
Nid more people like that. Maybe then we could avoid Global issues by at least 34%
Things that involve morals and such AKA murders etc.
But it's also not very viable. Imagine this: This is a War Universe. We all fight eachother. We all want to control, we all want to be better than one another. Some of us live to compete. Others live to hate. Some live to be hated.
We all want to be heard; we all want to be louder than one another. Stronger. Better looking. Smarter. Faster.
Greed.
Rage.
Jealousy.
Cleverness.
All produce Close-mindedness.
It's the Human Race.
It's human nature.
We killed and pillaged our own genetic relatives.
We Killed so many things with a smile upon our faces.
We own almost all the Earth... can anyone comprehend that?
We've seen higher than any animal.
We keep trying to outdo ourselves.
We lose sight of things.
It's always been like that.
We can't change it... no matter how hard we try.
And even if there are the few men and women who can shield their eyes from the sun...
The Naive will close their eyes in fear at the blinding light, and the Corrupt will stare at the sun and scream things untrue.
The Corrupt will go blind with power.
And the Naive will listen without question.
And then everyone will look at the People shielding their eyes... and they will shun them.
Until one day, one of the Naive goes to wipe sweat from his brow; and suddenly, he can see :I
But then everyone else will look down upon him, and instead of thinking for themselves, they will simply listen to the Mental Patient and do something horrible to him.
And everyone will forget.
That's life. It's not fair.
It never is.
But there is an idea that has been thrown around for almost all of conscious human history that people suddenly seem to reject; Deities and other realms.
That being said, if the man was innocent and you put him through
Hell, well, think about it this way;
He doesn't go to hell when he dies... you do.
So if the afterlife is the afterlife, well, it's already sorted out. He has no wrongdoings and gets to party on
an island with naked people for eternity after a short period of suffering and pain.
While you get to live in your glorious Material World, and then Die of Old Age in due time, and (Unless you are souless) while being swallowed up by guilt, go to
hell for '
killing' an innocent man... for eternity :u
It's like the justice system but on a greater level... Cosmic, even.
But if you believe in the whole "You just die" scenario... well.
I guess you get to live with the guilt for the rest of your life. At that point, it would be fair game to let people boo you off stage without objection.
Go get run over by a car or something I don't know.
Then when the "Bad Man" dies they should bury the body in something foul and disrespectful.
What do I care though.
It's impossible to take on 1.7 Billion or so people by yourself, those Billions who ALL can end your life with the pull of a finger, or the clenching of a fist within an angry mob. At least you know you didn't do anything to deserve 35 years.
At least now you can sing R.E.M. and actually relate to it.
Furries made me an Anarchist, I guess. I now resent the Government (amongst other things) to a degree and refuse to buy into any fads without insight.
So I might be biased because of this, but.
I'd offer him a choice, then. Maybe if he felt that his life was destroyed, that everything was now fruitless efforts... I'd give him the chance to die by Free-falling to his death from the STRATOSPHERE.
That would be fun
