A fallout shelter would have a water tank on the order of several tens of millions of gallons.

Hell our boat has a 18,000 gallon fresh water capacity. Getting plenty of water is no big deal.

If all you do is develop zombie super-weapons like the umbrella corporation. Then yes it would be a bad idea.


However, humans are a very adaptable species, and given sufficient resources, and a diverse enough population to mitigate inbreeding you could live underground indefinitely. There would be some problems in the initial 1-50 years as people adapt to the new conditions. But as soon as one or two generations have passed most of the problems would go away.

Eventually people would be curious enough about the "legends" of the surface world they would travel there, and by then the zombies would have turned to dust.

Fuck that only people i trust will be coming in and maybe some of the people they trust if theres enough room as for resources its not hard to stock pile the stuff plus if you make a little garden you'll have renewable food source. as for showering and whatnot its not hard to add water filtration systems to help preserve water.

Hell theres plenty of military bases around the world that does all this on a mass scale as in that supports like 500-1000 personnel so i can't see why a civilian would have a problem doing the same thing. it's not like I'd have to invent anything to make my project work everything i need we already have.

I'd do on first day: Pack stuff in car, bring unimportant but meaningful shit from house.

I'd gather these materials: water that will last us til next stop, ammo, my baton, crowbar and that katana sword that I think is only for display only... lol and a car with full tank of gas

What we're actually doing:
Traveling from one walmart to another. Staying there for a couple of days then moving onto the next walmart across america. Then back where we came from.

Weapons/gears: Chloroform, Shotguns, pistols, assault rifles, silencers, grenades, maybe bulletproof vest (zombies don't use guns lol), smg, lots of other shit to carry in car/bus

Where to go: idk, find a small/medium complex with trusted people to guard while we try to think what to do next, move places to places if necessary

What I would do first on the very first day:

I'm assuming this would be a Friday. Doomsday always fucking happens on a Friday/weekend. Except Nuclear Wednesday.

IMMEDIATELY before even the media states that a Zombie Outbreak has occurred, I would know/someone I know would know.
I would then laugh at the fact that we finally managed to fuck ourselves over with Scenario #4. On this day I would be the happiest man on Earth...   

I will probably also die inside a bit. Assuming there is anything left of my inner child. Also like the term "Snap", per se.

But more of a weight being lifted off my shoulders   

I will disregard Society at this point. If I tell you to do something as simple as pulling that axe out of your sister's back and you stand there with puppy eyes

What will your Group Members, if any, Wield?
In order to have an effective group, there needs to be teamwork, and balance.

Most likely I want someone with a Shotgun of any choice, someone with a PARA/Support Weapon (AKA Rambo), I need a Camper (Sniper), 2nd in Command who preferably is Intelligence/handles the rest of Co-ordination and communication, and then there's the guy who can take on a horde of zombies with a katana without getting a drop of blood on himself...

Worst Scenario I get 3 CQBs, the odd one out with a Dragonov sitting in his basement, and the More-Incompetent-than-Unit-PreDoomsday Intelligence Guy... Who's also a Wuss :<

I'd' be the one with the Pistols/Sidearms/Lightweight Weapons... seeing as how I actually fire/use them (Pistols, but who's to say I couldn't fire myself an Assault Carbine) :I

Not to mention; I/someone ingenious enough and not procrastinate could take the time to Build a rudimentary Rig that goes along said arm (Body part), and allow minimization of the Recoil + allows one to fire with 1 hand... plus you never have to let go of the gun

Where would I go? Well, Certainly not into a dense area like Toronto or Downtown Brampton, hellz no.

Unless I feel like going down, in a Blaze of Glory.

Assuming everything is checked off the list, I'm either going up north toward a more rural, empty area, most likely somewhere like Yellowknife... or the Green Belt. OR, the group could stay AND control a local Supermarket, most likely a Wal-mart, as they now sell Fresh Produce. Holy shit.

Not to mention pretty much everything else.

Also, keep in mind, unlike everywhere else, Canada, is a BIIIIIG OPEN SPACE, to which, even though it seems like Canadians are EVERYWHERE  in Canada, there's really only POCKETS of Densely Occupied space, and that's like, close to rivers and water bodies and such. If I decided to go Rural...

But assuming I am within the confines of a barricaded Super Duper Mart, I will stay, and listen in if they plan to nuke the area. Then I'll accept my fate, as I didn't plan on running around and killing so much as a rule-free life, something unbound to the confines of everyday living. I can sit on my ass all month playing the Xbox on a free 120-inch 3DTV of my choice, Eat from a f-uckload of anything I please, and still have the ability to stay fit. I can run around the fucking store while playing 1980s Rock music in my undies and no one will give infinite shits... except those in the store. But I don't think they'll mind. Hell they might even join in.

What would you do if you become the Infected:
I'd be a damn efficient zombie. If the traits of the dead are basically your raw human psyche and ability, then I'm basically a seeimingly Innocent, super silent stalker-like thing with really sharp hands, through which I'd use as a "needle" to infect/dissect the living... and to quote a quote that could not be anything more than accurate:

So what about filtering Urine/Rainwater? Someone can always go out and leave an open barrel or two, and every other rainy day, bring it in, filter it, add the antidote/Cure/Radaway/Rad-X and then drink that :u

Ooooor Pee in an empty barrel and then filter it...

Then again I learned long ago in Science that you can drink your own urine safely if you drink it immediately after... but...
