As you're rustling around the room, you hear something coming down the hallway. It's big, and you really don't want to stick around to see where it is.
You quickly open up the closet just to see a large pile of boxes stacked up. You knock them over, alerting whatever was outside. You hear it running towards your room, but manage to get yourself inside the closet before it kicks the door open.
You hear it moving about the room, in an attempt to find what caused the sound.
