This is Tiny. He's about 1 years old now.
He's a ball python and he doesn't afraid of anything.
He was about a month or two in that picture so I am going to upload another one of him current day. I can't today as he just ate so I can't, or at least shouldn't, handle him the day he eats. He's a hell of a lot bigger now.
Questions and Answers to avoid confusion:How big does it get?
About 5 feet. How long does it take to reach full length?
Depending on various factors such as how often and how much you feed it. It does though reach full length by about 1-3 years old on average. What does it eat?
The diet varies as they grow and age. They start at what they call "fuzzies", then go to "small mice", "medium mice", "large mice", and "rats". Tiny is currently eating medium mice.Doesn't he bite you all the time and isn't he mean?
No. This is a common misconception amongst the general demographic. Snakes are actually very friendly. My snake in particular, along with all and or most other snakes people have as pets, were born and raised in captivity so they are used to being around people. He eats in a cage designated to eating so he knows never to bite unless he's in it. He's also always been raised on mice so he doesn't bite anything except mice anyways. The only reason he would ever bite me, and he hasn't yet, is if I was being an idiot and fucking with his head. They hate having their head touched as it's extremely sensitive for them. He's very friendly and I love him a lot.Is he poisonous?
Nope. Pythons are mainly constrictors, so he has no fangs and relies on constricting his prey.Is he slimy or does he feel weird?
Another common sterotype. Snakes have scales that don't retain anything such as water or dirt/germs. They just feel really smooth.OMFG SNAEKS SO GROSS EWWW FGT HAHA.
