One of my best friends is a homosexual transgender.
People who don't like homosexuality are the ones are either Bible bangers, Homo phobics or just general dicks.
Hell my best friend is bisexual.
As I mentioned before, this statement is outrageously false because actual "Bible bangers" are supposed to know that they're not supposed to hate
anyone, they're supposed to hate the sin and love the sinner. "Christians" who, despite this mandate, go out and try to hate homosexuals are going against the very teachings that are written in the Bible.
I understand that there are many ignorant "Christians" out there (Who don't actually read the bible, much less go to church), but it still grates on me when people make completely false statements regarding the religion itself based on the actions of its so-called adherents. From my experience, there are a little over two mentions of homosexuality in the Bible, and though the Bible condemns homosexuality as an act of depravity and as a sin, so are many other things in life.
That's why I believe it's wrong for people, much less Christians to hate homosexuality, as it is "just another sin," and as with other sins, we need to make an effort to accept homosexuals, teach them why we believe it's wrong, and help them repress those sinful urges, should they choose to accept the religion (Seeing as it also says in the Bible not to force your views and beliefs on other people, but to prove by example).
I've been acquainted with several homosexuals myself, and they were pretty cool people (I actually didn't even know they were homosexual until I was told so).
