I actually went to the convention with a few friends. I think I may have a few pictures of some of the people who dressed up. Its not hot if you paint ears on your self and call your self a furry.

If you do go to one you should be careful. They're usually unregulated and lots of sketchy shit goes on. I had someone tell me a story about how they went to a rave and someone was trying to pay them to go around sticking needles in people.

I don't know conventions, but at gun shows they put a ziptie through the slide so the weapon cannot be fired, and if they find you with a gun that doesn't have one you are escorted to the police
