I honestly don't see why they have to make consoles in the first place,
Well, before PC gaming came into play, there were gaming consoles. Like the Atari 2600 and crap, and through out the 80's when gaming on computers like the commodore 64 became popular, people chose consoles because of convince. You had to launch a whole bunch of parameter shit with the commodore which made it a pain in the ass, rather than shoving a cartridge into your NES and playing straight from there. With today's gaming stuff, people chose consoles because of:
A. The games that are console only
B. Not having to spend $1000 on a 1337 gaming computer
C. Not having to worry about driver issues, incompatibilities, not very good graphical settings ect.
D. Using ass-tons of space on older computers
E. Waiting for install times
