If re-installing doesn't work, try to delete your garrysmod folder. Save your addons and other stuff you downloaded before doing this. It worked when I deleted the teamfortress folder when Team fortress 2 had a similar problem, so it might work for Garry's Mod.
And if not, do what Don said, and wait for the next update.
