Just finished it.

Eyyyuuughh.

Not going to say I was disappointed, since people hammered it in my head over and over again that the ending was going to be bad, but it still kind of irked me a little.

Basically, no matter what you do in the three games, you're able to chose which ending you want.

All the endings are exactly the same, with just some color differences to match renegade/paragon.

It sort of just, ends. Like the Sopranos. It didn't really have a conclusion to it. Just "oh, you did this. And that's it. The end."

It wasn't a bad game by any means though. It was worth the ride, even if the destination was "meh". I still recommend the trilogy to anyone whose willing to spend their time to play it. I still feel it was worth it.

The endings are not the same, if you have <1750 EMS then it doesn't matter what you choose, earth is destroyed.If you have 4000+ or 5000+ EMS then you'll see a 5 second cutscene of shepard waking up.
About the ending I believe that when the reaper hit shepard, he fell into a dream.(Infinite ammo pistol, the text on the wall, And the game tries to trick you, The bad is good,the good is bad.If you choose to destroy them then Anderson destroys them I believe, if you choose to control them, then the illusive man controls.I don't know about the synthesis.
So if you have 4000+ EMS and when the Illusive man tries to kill anderson, you get a renegade choice to shoot him, but that is paragon not renegade, if you destroy the reapers that is red, (red = renegade) but the game tricks you beacuse that is the paragon,the "good".So I think that shepard just dreamed it.
