I would proudly request that adding a silencer into Traitor's purchase menu.
Unlike the silenced pistol, the function of the silencer is used to silenced any gun that you are using.
Traitor shall pay 1 credit for it and it is not visible to other players (including fellow Traitors because some of them are dumb).
I found it annoying because some idiots purposely firing their weapons (which was same as me) and ended up myself being killed by another innocent/detective because they think that I killed someone with it.  :(

 :thumbsup: only addition i would make is you can choose to remove it at any point, perhaps in a similar way to switching fire modes on stronghold ie. E+Fire = silencer toggle.
I also do think silencer should be visible so it doesnt become overpowered.

No No No, it SHOULD NOT be visible or else it SHALL BE USELESS! And better MAKE SURE THIS KIND OF THING DOES NOT HAVE A BUG, otherwise, misunderstanding or anything else will possible happens.

I'd love to have a silencer. It would work great in the TTT server and give the Traitors more options to go by, not just go rambo on everyone.

Sounds simple. But it ends up making the silenced pistol obsolete since you can just put the silencer on the normal pistol. But then we would have to model the silencer and make sure it works with every weapon.

its not necessary. the silenced pistol is as accurate as the normal pistol, which is as accurate as a sniper (almost, slight exaggeration)
no other weapon needs it.

You're right no other weapons need it, but other weapons could use it.

If you've zoomed around to other communities TTT servers, sometimes you'll find a lot more traitor and detective items, which make their server VERY appealing.

EVERYONE STOP, THIS WILL UNBALANCE THE GAME!

I've seen this kind of thing happen on other servers. This is an overpowered idea that unbalances gameplay far to much. Have any of you seen the amount of empty TTT servers that have gear that is overpowered? I've seen a server go from full to rarel over 5 players. The current additional weapons all have their respective slots (aside from the "Moistin-Naget", how does that fit in?)

How will this unbalance the game?

The problem lies with the sound it makes when you fire your weapon. If I go around with a silencer to my deagle, Sniper rifle, or machine gun I'm going to be nearly unstoppable. The only weapon that realy works well with it is the pistol, but even then it needs a minor buff to be effective.

Now before you say "What if we nerf the weapon it's attached to" or "Don't let it be attached to certain weapons" let me just point out that that takes even more work and testing. It also requires fine-tuning. If it's done "right" it will certainly be worth the effort. The problem is, is that it's going to be very difficult to get it right.

I said add the silencer to the guns only for Traitors, not adding the damage or whatever.

It will be overpowered still, the traitor can go in with a disguise and silencer shooting everyone down.
I think we don't need it, the game is good as it is, we got enough traitor and detective weapons.
