I thought I'd bring my though on this time machine thread. Lets say scientists have discovered a way to create a time machine that anyone can afford but would take 20yrs to have the product perfected and on the product line. Now you'd probably tell yourself you would visit your past self to give yourself a time machine, now that wouldn't be possible if something occurred between those 20 yrs that would prevent you from doing so right?

So what I'm getting at is, what if something happened to the world before the time machine was created like the death of the human race. Would make it kinda hard to travel back in time if your dead before the technology was created. So possibility 2012 could be the end of the world that would stop the time machine in it's tracks. Just a different view on the situation.

And as I thought I said O.o if there are time machines in the future most probably they have rules not to go to the past, or maybe they just create a parallel universe which same like ours but isn't ours, thus creating a different future =O

theres easier explinations for why you havent been affected by time travel
1. its not created in your lifetime
2. it is created in your life time but its either too expensive or too hard to come by
when it comes out its gonna be really expensive seeing it takes a holy fuckton on energy.

Actually think about it. When you use the time machine, you probably wont move right? If you go back or forward even a small amount (say a day or more), odds are you will end up somewhere in space. If you go a year or more, you will probably end up way out in deep space, if you calculate in the motion of the solar system as a whole (orbiting around the galactic core).

TL;DR : people who use time machine need to fly their asses back to earth, thus wtf is the point.

Lolwut you talking about? it's all about wormholes, a wormhole can start in usa and end in israel.
It can also start and end at the same place, kinda random.
