Lol my dream PC would be:

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit (oh wait I already have it =P)

CPU: I7 980X @ 4 GHz

RAM: 24 GB 2000MHz

GPU: ATI HD 5970 4GB x2 OCed

Motherboard: ASUS P6T7 WS SuperComputer

HDD: 256 GB SSD x2 with RAID 0 and a 300GB 10k RPM Velicopter HDD

DVD Drive: LG Blu-Ray

Case: Antec 1200 (the same case I have now =D)

Fans: Scythe S-FLEX SFF21G 1900 RPM

Sound card: Creative X-Fi Elite Pro 7.1

Thermaltake Toughpower 1500W and CoolerMaster V10 fan for the CPU

And a nice 40" FHD LED 2MS screen would be nice with some epic 7.1 speakers and even better keyboard, mouse, mouse-pad than the ones I have now lawl

Because it's cheaper. And probably when he bought the card, ATi HD 5850, etc wasn't out yet.

Thermaltake Armor MX is the case,

and as far as the GPU, I have had the PC for over a year, so whether the ATI was out or not I dont know,

I have just always used NVidia and yes it was cheaper than others, and after spending on the CPU didnt wanna go overboard with cost later on lol.

And if I were you, I would take a less better CPU and with the money left I would take a better GPU, ATI's GPUs are cheap and are a better buy than Nvidia's, but you still have an awesome computer and you can always add more GPUs lawl

My case is atx it has the same interior as his and an even more epic exterior with green and blue leds.

My case looks a lot cooler in a dark room, it has blue and red lights. Also have the coolermaster V8

Which is cool cause when friends are bragging about their cars, I can say my computer has a V8, usually i get some confused looks.

DAMNNNN you OCed your CPU right? You should get a AtiHD 5970 XFX 4GB Edition........That will complete your epic PC lol and will actually use your 1000Watt.
