GD Skills: I'm great with Video editing, I'm much more into video creation and animation than art, (even though I tried really hard). I'm only good if I have pen and paper in science class lol.

Honestly, my best work comes from garry's mod machinima's (Not neccesarily having any plot though) but still, nice pieces of work IMO.

but, They have all been part of my images I haven't come close to depicting in my head..    lol.

BUT, My reason for joining rnd GD group: I love filming and editing, but I only edit something I think is worth being a video (I try anyway, sometimes i edit anything) but for example, I planned in the future to upload a dedicated RND community video. I have been slowly but surely getting small clips of footage from the GREATEST moments from rnd, (and if theres been something funny that I haven't captured that someone else has, please, message me so I can get that footage from you.)   Or if you can't stand any of my video's or think they are absolute horseshit, then that's just fine, I like constructive criticism. You don't have to care about my video's( I'm not forcing anyone) But I think with my abilities with vegas and any video producting software, I can really get a message across for ANYone who wants to share. I hope any of this app makes sense. But I would really like to be part of an RND GD team. :)

   Hey quick update, everything's going great, I'm steadily progressing and It all looks great and with constant testing, I see no problems *yet* BUT, I started to work with the "EMERGENCY" Lettering above the entrance. Yes, I finished them and I was VERY pleased with the result, but whenever I compile it later on to test progress, It seems everytime it's re-compiled the cuts i made in the letters keep coming back. For example: The "G" in emergency, I made a square in sdk, cut it up, curves around edges and all, cut out the center and it looked great, but in garry's mod, I load the map and there's half of the cuts I made are back. so It's still a filled-in "G" on the sign. But thats not what I'm worried about, I just now have to finish making all of the patients rooms, and secrets and shit blah blah blah. I even WAS going to show a quick fly-thru of the map with a video, but HA nope, you'll just have to wait to be surprised. (I really hope rnd will love this map as much as the present favorites)

Holy shit, Jimonions.. this helped a megaton fuckload, thanks. Now I can proceed a bit more. At first I was looking and I was like wtf? then I started taking my time and everything was simple. also if your filtering to a func_breakable, then on the output of filter on "via this input" instead of open put remove health, or something like that and type the health you want to subtract.

I need help with something, I'm adding objectives in my map, I want a prop such as a battery that when i plug it into i.e: generator or something, it opens a door. How can I do that like the deathmaps with the dynamite and soap, the baby too.

Oh, duh. thanks. I went blank on that. Ok, after a long time of fixing shit, my map corrupted and I had to get the latest compiled map cause I didn't have a backup, so i decompiled an older version, just set me back slightly but I think I should be ok now that I know what I'm making. Thanks Again, I'll keep everyone posted.

By the way Xexxar, You should put something about each weapon's reload speed. That DOES play a big factor.

Hey guys, Sorry the maps been so slow, I've been pre-occupied, the other day I ran into a problem, I've been building the map under the Counter Strike Source SDK version. And realized theres no ammo-crates, health boxes, zombie spawn-points, or anything I need. So I just got half-life 2 and started working again, this time most of the textures are white from css... I fixed most, but not all. I'm kinda stuck. I know there are maps that use stuff from both games. How can I do this?

I didn't do any of the actually released map, I made the backdrop so you look off the side and you could see other shit, but it took too long to compile. great map though.
