If you were banned, you can freely connect to the servers, however it would kick you out of the game after your client info was sent, and give you a message that you have been banned from the servers.

If you just cant see the rnd servers, it sounds like a connection problem.

Try connecting directly to the server by going into console and typing:

connect 173.60.104.232:27019

That should get you into the TTT server, or just look on the server list on the forums for the server IP:Port you want to connect to.

Alright this isn't a clear-cut case of abuse. More like a whining fight that ended in the use of the votekick system.

A few points of notice:

1. I'm not even sure changing your name to imitate someone else is even against the rules...
2. You both acted poorly

I really don't see anything here that warrents us taking action.

Honestly I don't understand why everyone gets so bent out of shape about this. Rdm IS against the rules of the TTT gameplay, So it is punished by the game as a loss of Karma. It is not really against the rules of the Rnd servers with a few exceptions. Such as harassment of a player, or killing your fellow terrorists.

Even so, this would equate to the person getting banned for a period of time, not a loss of respected.

However the 10 y/o whining part is thoroughly not recommended, but hardly worth reporting in the forums, if someone gets super whiny and starts yelling and curseing, i'd personally just vote-kick them since they need a chance to cool off for a bit. FFS its video game after all, you are supposed to find this fun.

Time travel to the past has currently been deemed impossible by modern science. So that's why you haven't gotten your time machine yet.

Although time travel to the future is very possible. You can experience it in your daily lives climb to the top of a high building, and the time you experience is faster by a small but measureable amount compared to everyone else.

This is called "Gravitational time dilation" It basically means the more gravity you experience the slower time will pass for you. So if you were able to get into a space ship and fly right next to a black hole, a few hours would pass for you, while hundreds of years would pass back on earth.

GPS satellites encounter problems with time dilation effects, since they require extreme accuracy in keeping track of time in order to give accurate positioning, the small little boost in speed to time provided by being out in geosycn orbit, messes with the system so they have to be calibrated to take the dilation effect into account.

Anyway this topic is lame and the banter contained, even more so, therefore it doesn't deserve to live anymore.

And to hkill, thanks for playing on our servers when you were actually a contributing member of the community. I'm sad and a little confused as to why we have to part like this. It hurts a little that you call me and the others failure admins. We do our best.

I don't use headset but...

Normally I use Grado Labs SR125 Headphones,



When there is a lot of noise around I use the Beats Solo By Dr Dre.




For a mic I use a Generic Radioshack headset that I bought quite a few years ago.

There seems to be some confusion about whats going on here. You were originally blacklisted almost a month ago, you were supposed to have your respected powers removed then, but due to some confusion and mis-communication on our part, your respected rights weren't removed.

You should have been able to reapply for respected on the 5th of this month.

Since it was our fault things got messed up ill only extend your blacklisting a week or so.

So feel free to reapply for respected on the 19th of this month.
