That is actually a very funny yet very good idea because ppl are eager to pick up a gun so if you drop it out in the open ppl are bound to take it so they do have a chance to survive and that is a good traitor weapon cause they could accidentally pick up a aided gun and they die of it XD

Better scenario:

Guy infected with AIDS: Drop me your primary so I can check the ammo
Random Guy: *drops gun*
Guy infected with AIDS: *drops infected gun on the random guy, and steals his primary*
