Last week the parents of a Wisconsin boy sued Grant County District Attorney Lisa Riniker for charging their son with first-degree sexual assault, a Class B felony, after he played "butt doctor" with a 5-year-old girl. He was 6 at the time. When the boy's lawyer tried to have the charge dismissed, Riniker replied: "The legislature could have put an age restriction in the statute if it wanted to. The legislature did no such thing." The lawsuit says that once he turns 18, he will be listed as a sex offender.

This is weird, but underlying it's bullshit. I mean if it was consensual then why would just the boy be punished? Talk about first class sexism... I believe we went to far with "women's rights", they need to be exactly the same as a mans. We need equality.

And think about the boy, he has to live the rest of his life knowing about some dumb little action that gets him labeled as a sex offender?

Not to sound a creeper, but I read that playing "doctor" as a child, can be a normal part of a childhood. Though it does not happen to everyone, this is around the age were boys and girls begin to realize that they are in fact, different. I think this charge is ridiculous and those parents completely over-reacted. And the fact that they are going to make that poor boy suffer with a label he received when he was 6 is cruel.

feminists dont want equal rights, they want to be held to a higher standard and get special treatment for being a woman. as for the girl, she will get off clean, and hell might even get a lump sum of cash from the family of the boy.  as the boy will live in shame for the rest of his life.
