Default Textures using Metal Bullet Holes and Metal Footstep Sounds

When I was playing Gmod, I stepped on a default texture and it sounded as a metal texture. This happens to all default textures including default texture props. Here's some pics:

install gmod again or wait since there have been just some updates?
