My small little suggestion :3

Hi! So for this thread, I have two things I'm debating whether it's a good idea to put on the forums

Well, okay.. Very recently.. Early today, I watched a movie with good 'ol bf for breakfast in bed and what not.
Well, we decided to torrent a movie the night before.. and this movie was called
"American Psycho"


and it was disturbing as fuck. I'm scared of it. But we both loved how the story went.
I definitely recommend watching it.

Anyways... So.. we decided to look up more movies we'd like to watch.
I started googling up good movies that we could possibly watch that were recommended by other people.
Well, the results were too fucking derp..

I would get results from yahoo answers and it would recommend "Twilight" or "Harry Potter" or some mainstream movie that I've already seen like "Inception" or some shit. Eventually we just gave up.

So I thought about it and I was gonna go on discussions and post something about this but then again it also occurred to me that if people wouldnt mind the idea of having a subcategory of movies then I'd go ahead and recommend it. I don't see any cons in doing so, So I figured I'd try my best to at least put the idea out there.

here is the suggestion if tl;dr:
Maybe a little category under the creative arts called "Movies" where people would recommend movies to other people and possibly discuss them?

I think it'd be a good idea. Nothing bad can come of it really. Of course, movie recommendations and such could just go to discussion, but I think making a separate sub-board for it encourage people to post recommendations, which I am definitely okay with.

Just make a topic in videos forum about whatever movie, or make a giant movie thread w/e.

But a movie is a type of video if I'm not mistaken.

Although after being reminded with jman's post, I'm just gonna abandon this and move on.

Tbh I don't see why it shouldn't be added. Sure, you could just post suggestions and such in the videos board, but it's much much more simple and convenient to have a board for talking about and recommending actual movies.

I'd actually like to see this, as commenting on movies would be between discussion and videos section, so this would actually be useful.
