Title: My small little suggestion :3
Post by: Devie on August 30, 2011, 08:54:04 PM: Hi! So for this thread, I have two things I'm debating whether it's a good idea to put on the forums :)

Well, okay.. Very recently.. Early today, I watched a movie with good 'ol bf for breakfast in bed and what not.
Well, we decided to torrent a movie the night before.. and this movie was called
"American Psycho"

and it was disturbing as fuck. I'm scared of it. But we both loved how the story went.
I definitely recommend watching it.

Anyways... So.. we decided to look up more movies we'd like to watch.
I started googling up good movies that we could possibly watch that were recommended by other people.
Well, the results were too fucking derp..

I would get results from yahoo answers and it would recommend "Twilight" or "Harry Potter" or some mainstream movie that I've already seen like "Inception" or some shit. Eventually we just gave up.

So I thought about it and I was gonna go on discussions and post something about this but then again it also occurred to me that if people wouldnt mind the idea of having a subcategory of movies then I'd go ahead and recommend it. I don't see any cons in doing so, So I figured I'd try my best to at least put the idea out there.

here is the suggestion if tl;dr:
Maybe a little category under the creative arts called "Movies" where people would recommend movies to other people and possibly discuss them?

Of course, movie recommendations and such could just go to discussion, but I think making a separate sub-board for it encourage people to post recommendations, which I am definitely okay with.

nevermind I'm not gonna lock it yet.
Some people messaged me saying not to and to give it a chance.
Although after being reminded with jman's post, I'm just gonna abandon this and move on.
I was gonna lock it but other people wants to see if it has a chance.
