Damn... I'm REALLY tempted to get into a rant about the difference between clips and magazines. =/

Anyways.

FN P90
Armour penetration
High MAGAZINE capicity
Fast firing
Low damage
Low accuracy

The plastic bullets leave DNA (The gun uses high density plastics, not lead and brass)

The P90 uses the 5.7x28 mm round. Since my dad has a Five-seveN (aka, the pistol in TTT which IS NOT A FUCKING 9mm), here's a picture of the round.



 The round was designed specifically for the gun, which was designed to replace the mp5 as a good CQB weapon for personnel not directly in combat (helicopter crews, for example). It was designed to penetrate kevlar armor, so that is accurate. It is also meant to kill. It would not just go through someone. It does have a high capacity magazine. Lets go over this again:

FN P90
Armour penetration (yes)
High MAGAZINE capicity (yes)
Fast firing (yes, in comparison to something like an m16)
Low damage (false)
Low accuracy (false)

i like the firearms source ones.
We should add the:
MP5
Pump Shotgun
FAMAS
Others can pick too.


I still think we should change the 9mm pistol to a beretta 92.

Make the current 9mm pistol (known as the Five-seveN) use its correct round. (5.7)
Add the P90, the P90 uses the same round as mentioned above (the 5.7)

I think we should use all of the css models before we start going into custom stuff.

Keeping download sizes low always promotes more new people to join.

This thread is full of good ideas; I completely support the addition of new weapons.

Like many have mentioned before, balance is key. I'm sure many of these ideas could be implemented without messing up the balance.

Realistic
Powerfull

Hard to manipulate
Its a entity (if this is important)
You can only select the gun when you have the ammo

Hmm Okay I was convinced and I'm considering submissions for general point and shoot weapons, such as a pistol, rifle, etc. that both classes will be able to access.

It will be more likely to have weapons integrated if they are balanced relative to the current ttt weapons and carefully considered.

An example of this: If you are considering a new rifle, check the damage, velocity, delay, recoil, ammo clip to that of another rifle like the m16.

You can aim for realism, but it must be relative to TTT. Ex: If you know a rifle's power, velocity, etc, compare it to a real m16, see the difference and then apply it to TTT's relative in-game value.

Traitor weapons however are more difficult to consider.

However, I did not see any other suggestions that I would even partially consider adding at this point.

Recently I talked with Coolzeldad and Deacon over TS3 about an idea to help balance TTT, while having new weapons. So the idea is, each month, the M249(SAW) will be switched out with a randomly suggested weapon that is accurate in description. Now it doesn't have to be the M249, it could be any other weapon currently in TTT.
