So I WAS gonna get an Intel i5 Quad core with a GTX460, but NOW I'm getting this.

The Quad core phenoms are actually more powerful than the Hex cores when it comes to gaming. You'd want to get the hex cores if you do a lot of multitasking or HD movie rendering or something like that. But if it's gaming you want, then stick to the quad cores.
