Depending on what u do. Even in a modern gaming standpoint. 2gbs is enough.
1 Recommendation.
Clearly u will be upgrading in the future.
That would probably be your gpu and ram.

I would suggest u pick up a 600w now.
It will give u room and save u money in advance.
Dont wanna buy things twice :3

I had 2gb of ram and it was shit for gaming


You WILL NOT be able to play gmod with 30+ addons becaues RAM usage will go over 2gb

Games un-playeable with W7 & 2GB:

GMod(30+addons)
ANY CoD game
BFBC2
GTAIV
AvP
ANY game in DX11
DiRT 1&2


1. Windows uses 900-1500mb of RAM idling with nothing un-needed running
2. That leaves you with 1100mb - 500mb of RAM and whenever it gets to 200mb left, Windows starts to lag out
3. It's only good for XP, But then there is no DX10 or 11, And HL2 engine games crash alot on XP
