Fun fact:

I've never had a legitimate nightmare. Ever.

I also am incapable of lucid dreaming, for some reason.

So I was wondering, how many of you try or do not try to remember your dreams?

Do you remember them well or poorly?

Which do you remember best or worst and why?

Where are you able or unable to focus on detail?

Was the dream more realistic than not in terms of the senses? ( sight, smell, taste, touch, hearing, anything abnormal? )

Also share a dream that was most interesting, exotic, or strange if you wish. ( I don't care how far you take it but please keep in mind the site rules - just use sense please )

You can answer any of the questions or just leave a story if you want, can also answer in anyway that works for you.
You can provide any other related information not mentioned here as well, even if it seems it might not be so important. Think if the time of the dream had any significance or what had led up to the dream, falling asleep, or waking up could have anything to do with it, etc.

Anyway, maybe we can learn something or gain some insight into dreams or anything else for that matter.

inb4 we need to go deeper, please post serious content

Uh, it would appear dat my computer decided not to ping earlier, and erase about some text close enough to the character limit... However, I'd might as well see if I can recover it.

That took forever to write so here's the second part I prepared stupidly.

Shame because I did some fair work on describing the setting and the senses rather than the story itself  :-[

I even answered the questions...

Part 2

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I woke up that morning on a Saturday, Noon EST.
