But aside from that, I don't see that having good wits is going to help you from having a whole population of zombies from killing you...
People would probably have better chance living in a nuclear fallout, considering if you do actually live, you truly DO have to rely on your "wits" in order to survive. In a zombie apocalypse you'd also have to rely on a lot more physical strength :/.

Well, gunfire can be 150dB, which is as loud as a jet engine. Even with a silencer, the best ones only lower it by 20dB, which = 130dB = jackhammer loudness.
