When I said "your actions", I wasn't referring to not putting password-protect plugins on the server.
I was referring to how when you found out what I did (Even though I didn't cause any form of damage whatsoever), you decided that you'd shut off the server and tell everyone that it was my fault they couldn't play.
And as for your analogy:
Let me put this in my own terms.
The bank leaves the vault door open.
The manager comes back, and finds you standing in front of the door.
However, you have taken nothing. The bank has lost nothing.
Here's the thing:
If I had say, put a TNT in someone's house and blown a wall out
Or taken someone's shit out of their chest
Your comparison would be splendidly correct.
Also, another fun fact:
When I was in the server, I saw a hidden chest behind a wall. It was full of stacks of golden apples, meaning someone else besides me had been using (And abusing) the /give command.
I could probably even find it still.
But you know what? I didn't touch anything, because I respected the players and their stuff.
But when gamefreak gives himself some redstone and cobble to make a house, that just crosses the line now doesn't it.
Also, I never said (Although I may have implied it, which I apologize for) that you were at fault for not password-protecting the server. The only thing I attributed to you was the fact that you took the opportunity to go completely ape-shit on me for doing something that seemed mostly innocuous. But that wasn't really significant.
Again, I apologize for violating your trust. When I entered the second time, I had forgotten that your server's IP was still in my Minecraft history. It was just a combination of bad luck and sheer stupidity on my part.
