Torrented gmod never works unless you and the server have the EXACT SAME VERSION. Considering garry updates every week, it's almost impossible to find an up-to-date version.

As for Undead/SteamUp, That's what it blocks. Gmod loads up your SteamID, and checks to see if you have legit gmod.
