I never got into it myself, those games got really stupid conceptually, and rules wise.  I stick to things like MtG, if anything..

actually it does, if the item in question happens to be illegal on the grounds such as your school has stated therefore they don't have to do a dam thing. It becomes your own problem since they forbid you to bring it to school.

Exactly.

They wouldn't go searching the school grounds for a lost pocket knife, why should they use it for cheap cards?

Against the rules of an institution =/= against the LAW of course... and still, it doesn't change the basic definition of robbery just because you were robbed of to be against the school rules to have on campus [though still LEGAL to possess].

Uh ... I was not ARGUING that, in fact, I think I already said I think it wasn't something that they would care to look into [but then again, the police at my last college looked into a stolen foam battleaxe, so who knows] ... and for what feels like the 6th time, the problem I have is the idea that a crime is not a crime because it involves something legal to possess but not allowed by a campus rule.... last I checked, larceny/theft was not defined as "The unlawful taking of personal property as an attempt to deprive the rightful owner of it permanently"*
*["unless it involves something a college doesn't allow you to have by policy, but is legal to possess."]

...

Goddammit, I gotta stop listening to the Danocot 8-bit covers of Sonic 1, 2, and Sonic 3 & Knuckles game music [here for s3&k] when browsing the internet.... Doomsday Zone 8-bit + over-sensationalized news article on the Japanese disaster = 0_o rush

7 Years later, I don't even know where it is.
