This kind of thing is pretty common.
Generally, to make any kind of significant money would take an inordinate amount of time when compared to other methods of cash flow.
If it is too good to be true, it generally is.
Something that you have to remember is, the people that run this need to turn a profit. They are not a charity agency.
It's kind of like Chuckey Cheese's, you spend probably 40 dollars in quarters to get some crappy 10 dollar stereo. The real reason your spending money is because it gives you that sense of reward, you put a huge amount of effort to earn that crappy 10 dollar stereo so it is now the best stereo in the world.
I'm sure it is possible for a kid to make a profit earning tickets, but the chances are next to zero, as all of the cards are stacked in the house's deck, and your paying to be entertained.
This is all based around the gambleing desire in all of us, the expectation that "we will be the winners, everyone else just didn't have our skill"
The people that actually come out on top in these things are in the extreme minority, 99.9999% of people, lost money or make insiginficant profits.
If you want to see if this is true all you have to do is ask yourself this simple question:
Is the company still in buisness?
If yes, then the odds of making money are significantly in their favor rather than yours.
A good exsample would be entropia online.
This is a MMO with a economy that converted into actual cash, I played it for a little while, it was a mediocre game and had the chance to earn you money, by mining and hunting animals.
Some animals actually dropped somthing, others didn't.
Of course there was always the new "High value drops" being posting in chat for everyone in the game to see in order to entice them with the idea that "your next fortune is right around the corner".
If you invested enough time and were slightly lucky, you might too earn one of these "valuable drops" But the amount of effort and money you put into the game in the long run would be less than what you would earn.
All of these schemes are just like a slot machine. They put an extreme amount of effort to make it seem like you will earn money from doing this, but in the end the odds of each machine have been precisely calculated to be in the house's favor.
Its the exact same thing as all those emails and adds saying "OMG EARN LOTS OF $$$$ FROM HOME!" just packaged differently.
Think about it, if someone was making fistfuls of money working out of their house, why would they spend the money to buy a TV ad to tell people about it, unless they expected to earn money off of the people tricked by the ad.
So if you have a retarded amount of free time, and are too young to have a real job, then sure It might make sense for you to do something like this. But if can actually get a real job, these things are not in anyway worth it. As in one hour you can make more in a minimum wage job, than you could possibly make in a weeks of working on something like this.
It just seems better cause you being paid to do some menial task.
