Lockerz

I'm not sure if anyone here knows about Lockerz already, but I just started using Lockerz.com and I am not disappoint, so I wanted to share it with the forums.
Basically it's one of them PTC sites, but you watch videos to earn points, and use the points to get discounts, bid on items, and purchase items or cash when the site restocks. (it restocks tomorrow, which is why I decided to share with everyone so you've got a some chance to get points before it restocks, and hopefully get something from it)
I have not yet had the chance to actually buy anything with it yet, but I thought you guys might want to try it out with me.
Shimmuh has also used the site apparently, and said he got a TV from it, so I'm desperate to try it out.
Also, the site is private, so you need an invite to use it, and I'd be more than happy to invite anyone who wants to try it out. In order to invite you I have to have you e-mail though, so if you want to try the site out, send me a PM with your e-mail and I'll invite you asap.
I also do get some points for referring people, but that isn't the main reason I'm sharing the site with everyone.
(also, if you don't trust the site enough to give it your address to ship you shiz, there are paypal coupons as well, which only requires your paypal account to send you the money)

The restocks are impossible to get anything from.

They're literally sold out less than a minute after they restock, and their site is slow as shit during restocks.

Gah. My friends irl and I did Lockerz awhile ago for a bit.

Turns out it's actually a scam in a way. In their "general redemptions" they have way fewer stocked items then they advertise. Hence, the reason everything always appears to be sold out that's good, because the items are very limited, if present at all.

In summation, I personally don't recommend "wasting" your time on this website.

Ah, well I'm still gonna try anyways. If i can get anything at all I'll be happy lol.
Besides, it's really easy to get points, just do a few clicks, mute the videos and do something else until it finishes lol.

This kind of thing is pretty common.

Generally, to make any kind of significant money would take an inordinate amount of time when compared to other methods of cash flow.

If it is too good to be true, it generally is.

Something that you have to remember is, the people that run this need to turn a profit. They are not a charity agency.

It's kind of like Chuckey Cheese's, you spend probably 40 dollars in quarters to get some crappy 10 dollar stereo. The real reason your spending money is because it gives you that sense of reward, you put a huge amount of effort to earn that crappy 10 dollar stereo so it is now the best stereo in the world.

I'm sure it is possible for a kid to make a profit earning tickets, but the chances are next to zero, as all of the cards are stacked in the house's deck, and your paying to be entertained.

This is all based around the gambleing desire in all of us, the expectation that "we will be the winners, everyone else just didn't have our skill"

The people that actually come out on top in these things are in the extreme minority, 99.9999% of people, lost money or make insiginficant profits.
If you want to see if this is true all you have to do is ask yourself this simple question:
Is the company still in buisness?
If yes, then the odds of making money are significantly in their favor rather than yours.

A good exsample would be entropia online.

This is a MMO with a economy that converted into actual cash, I played it for a little while, it was a mediocre game and had the chance to earn you money, by mining and hunting animals.
Some animals actually dropped somthing, others didn't.

Of course there was always the new "High value drops" being posting in chat for everyone in the game to see in order to entice them with the idea that "your next fortune is right around the corner".

If you invested enough time and were slightly lucky, you might too earn one of these "valuable drops" But the amount of effort and money you put into the game in the long run would be less than what you would earn.

All of these schemes are just like a slot machine. They put an extreme amount of effort to make it seem like you will earn money from doing this, but in the end the odds of each machine have been precisely calculated to be in the house's favor.
Its the exact same thing as all those emails and adds saying "OMG EARN LOTS OF $$$$ FROM HOME!" just packaged differently.
Think about it, if someone was making fistfuls of money working out of their house, why would they spend the money to buy a TV ad to tell people about it, unless they expected to earn money off of the people tricked by the ad.

So if you have a retarded amount of free time, and are too young to have a real job, then sure It might make sense for you to do something like this. But if can actually get a real job, these things are not in anyway worth it. As in one hour you can make more in a minimum wage job, than you could possibly make in a weeks of working on something like this.

It just seems better cause you being paid to do some menial task.

Yes I know, I've thought of all of that, which is why I'm not staying at my computer 24/7 waiting to get more points. I simply click a video while I'm waiting or something, mute it, and do something else, taking no effort and little time. I honestly am not expecting to get rich or anything off of this lol, just a hope of getting a bit of money or an item.

Which is why they stay in business  ::)

Value of points =

(Income - expenses - profit margin)/number of points in circulation

Think about what that equation means for a bit. It probably isn't the exact one they use, but it is most likely very similar.

Public analytical tools say Lockerz.com gets an average of 317551 views per day and earn about $954.89 through their advertisements.

That means each user is giving them $0.003 every day.
