I've got a Wacom tablet and it feels nothing like pencil and paper.
Its not exact, but those tablets have a roughness to them that make them feel more like paper. The screen on my tablet pc isn't like that at all.

Heh, I know a tablet PC is obviously going to be more smooth because of the material it uses, but I have never used one so I don't really know.
All I know is that I can draw shit IRL pretty good.
When I pull out my Wacom tablet, I'm that 8 year old who can't draw within the lines in the enormous circle on the paper screen.
