my bro got me a bamboo fun, and taking sometime getting used to it, i just drew this... its the first thing, beware im gonna humiliate myself because i am NO ARTIST, like... FAR FROM IT
didnt take me long but hopefully i can get a lil better, throw some advice my way if you have any

I especially can't draw skulls for some reason. Idk why, but just the shape I guess is hard for me to draw lol.

Protip for you moo:
Treat that pen like your soul in solid form. It is so goddamn fragile, and it is a hassle to get another one. Also, get extra pen nibs cause they wear out really fast.

Moo, something easy that will help you with your drawing, is drawing a picketsign with a fence, if you do this about 4-5 times, it would be easier to draw 3-D things. it helped me, :nomnom:

You shouldn't be getting discouraged.
This is like if you'd been drawing for a long, long time. And if you like to draw you shouldn't stop :I

You even have your own sort of style- some people don't even.
You do not suck.
And imagine when you start incorporating this with like Adobe (or Gimp or another DGprogram), and begin making inked-out, fully coloured & shaded masterpieces.
Do not get discouraged. Sometimes you can surprise yourself.

I've been "trying" to draw for awhile now, and every once and awhile I get something good.
I prefere abstract though, so sometimes it looks really cool and other times it's like, wtf man.

No, wacom tablets feel like paper and pencil though, while tablet pcs are really smooth (which is kind of hard to get used to).

Its not exact, but those tablets have a roughness to them that make them feel more like paper. The screen on my tablet pc isn't like that at all.

Heh, I know a tablet PC is obviously going to be more smooth because of the material it uses, but I have never used one so I don't really know.
All I know is that I can draw shit IRL pretty good.
When I pull out my Wacom tablet, I'm that 8 year old who can't draw within the lines in the enormous circle on the paper screen.
