Whatever, for now it is option numbah 1 but we will see. As for the thread i just wanted to see some advice (not getting a tutor) Because I dont think a psychologist can solve complex geometrical issues(exactly my case)

Alrighty I was going to post here earlier but... it was like 4:00 am and my brain was like *bleh*

First of all, a tutor is not a psychologist. I believe you are referring to what would be called a therapist.

A tutor, is simply someone who has a good understanding of the subject at hand and helps someone gain a better understanding of the subject (like geometry).
A tutor would be a good option for you, since they would be willing to work at whatever pace you learn at. (especially if you are paying them)

I myself tutored someone for calculus, it wasn't my best subject at the time, but they just wanted someone they could bounce questions off of as much as they wanted (I was paid in delicious homemade cookies, it was awesome)

You very clearly created this thread in an attempt to have someone comfort you on the idea of losing your computer for a while.

I know this because you said it yourself

Quote
First of all any1 who doesn't know how to feel sorry for others NAVIGATE AWAY FROM THE THREAD

You know what, your right. Losing access to your computer will be quite lame. As it is probably a large source of fun and entertainment, as well as being your connection to your friends, both online and offline.
Having something taken away from you like that, is always lame.

But this thread isn't a hate fest. Everyone is just being... rather harsh... with their advice to you.
The point they are trying to make underneath all of the poorly worded and vulgar statements is correct.

Doing good in your classes is important.

But as you said yourself, you did rather poorly in your classes, I'm assuming an E is between D and F.

Your parents are right in the idea of taking your computer away from you, since you probably just scribbled down answers as fast as you could on your homework or just flat-out ignored it.  And instead, went to go play on the RND servers. Which is understandable as these servers are quite good if I say so myself.

But whats done is done, and now you have a few options open to you.

1. Use a linux live cd to partially circumvent your parent's punishment.

This is what I'd call a short term gain for a long term loss. Sure you still gain some access to the computer, but ultimately it wont be nearly as good as having full access to your computer. And chances are, you will do just as bad next time around so that linux live cd is what you will have to live with for much, much longer.

2. Not get access to your computer, and just mope around and send scowls at everyone who looks at you.
I think your smart enough to figure this one out for yourself.

3. Not get access to your parents, and do something useful. (like read some good books, and perhaps even do your homework!)
I know, I know. this is probably not the most fun option in the world. (though reading books is awesome) But overall, it is the least painful option.

Think about it. You start doing good in school again, your parents give you your computer back. And next time when you make a slip-up on your grade, you find out reading books you select is actually pretty fun!

Before you start writing off what I'm saying as "I'm just a big dummy who has no idea what it's like being cut off from the computer by force"

Actually, I do. Allll too well

I spent most of my childhood (it felt like to me) being grounded, which meant I couldn't use the computer, no tv (except for the discovery channel), and no friends. It sucked.'

for me it was always things like spelling tests that I did bad on. And I always was terrified of when the grades got to my mother. (She is scary when she is angry)

Even more recently. My last two semesters at college. I have done (poorly would be putting it mildly) bad... on my classes.

Two semesters ago I failed all of my classes. Except for one, Chemistry (I got a C... )

The past semester, I Failed one class, Got an NB (means they didn't have anything to grade me on) on another. Got a B in another Class and a C- in a class I was expecting to get a B to A in.

My GPA is currently at a 2.0, if I get a 1.999 or below, I will be ejected from my degree program.
The degree I am seeking is something I want to get so badly, I can practically feel it in my bones.
I need a 3.2 or higher just to get a job when I graduate.

So now,
I am at my own tipping point in my life.

I can either
A. Scowl at everyone about my bad grades and not achive one of my dreams.

or

B. Get my ass into gear.

I sure as hell wish I had my mother at college to yell at me when I'm playing video games instead of doing my homework or studying. Or to ground me when I get a bad grade on a test.

I am probably one of the most un-Asian Asian you will ever meet.

I am the first person in my ENTIRE FAMILY to have been suspended from school. (Most idiotic reason of all time.)

I failed math TWICE.

I do not play the piano or violin.

I have horrible grades

I am extremely BORED of Chinese food.

I am not attracted to Asian girls. (Latinas>Whites>Asians>Blacks is my ranking of attraction)

Cheesicle suspended, reason: "a" "For saying Good Morning too many times."

I was in biology, and apparently one of the Chinese guys there was in a really shitty mood. I said good morning to him for like the 10th time and he blew up in class. Biology teacher called my up, said that "Some people just don't have a sense of humor." And let me go. Then he proceeded to send an email to administration saying "I TOLD HIM THAT HIS JOKES WERE NOT APPRECIATED IN CLASS (my ass)" So during english I was called into the office. I spent 2 hours in there, half the time sitting there waiting for them to make up their damn mind on my punishment. They really take sympathy on International students, so I got suspended for "pestering". Now that dumbass shit is on my permanent record. I won't even get a chance to explain it to colleges and Universities that I may apply to. -__________-
