I just made an underground base, like the vaults in Fallout.

Nu need for traps, the door is practically invisible.

i dont really get mob spawners.. i invedit them and i place them in a small and dark room and no monsters spawned :<

I have this on one of my versions.
Maik hole 1 block high and length of tarp, then extend that to drop into a small room where the water pushes the items near the entrance.

Invedit spawners dont work, you have to find the natural ones o.o
