Growing up.

Heres something Thats going around FB right now.

Growing up
Your best-friend becomes your worst enemy.
Lollipops turn into cigarettes.
The innocent ones turn into sluts.
Homework goes in the trash.
Detention becomes suspension.
Soda becomes vodka.
Undies turn into g-strings and boxers.
Kisses turn into sex.
Remember when getting high meant swinging on the playground?
When protection meant wearing a helmet?
When the worst things you could get from girls/guys were cooties?
Your worst enemies were your siblings.
Race issues were about who ran fastest.
War was only a card game.
The only drug you knew was cough medicine.
Wearing a skirt didn't make a girl a slut.
The only things that hurt were skinned knees and goodbyes only meant until tomorrow?

and to think we all couldn't wait to grow up...

Yes its a chain letter but i happen to like it, whats your thoughts?

Am I a pervert or does that sentence mean what I think it does?

Edited:

I'm not in high school or college yet, but I completely agree based on what I hear everyone talking about in school and FB (I don't have an FB account)

This illustrates a part of life called change.

While it does not have to be whats above, it happens constantly.

It is interesting to note our ability to ignore these changes until they become so distinguished that we marvel at their impact.

These, like above, serve as reminders of these changes we often ignore.

Wanting so much change we get ahead of ourselves.

Every time you download Garry's Mod illegally, Garry makes a bug.

When people ask me "Plz" because its shorter than "Please" I feel perfectly justified to answer "No" because its shorter than "Yes".

Change can be positive, or negative...

But, I always wonder, why do kids my age take the negative change? Smoking weed, skipping school, drugs, stealing, etc. They know it's bad, and by doing so will screw up their lives, but why do they still do it?

Negative change is only in the eyes of the beholder. I mean yes if society views it as negative it is generally seen that way. But when it comes to drugs or skipping skool, thats kids social group doesnt see it as a negative thing. A kid in this group is praised for ssuch things. I know because I was apart of this social decline listed ^^^^.

In reality I still smoke weed and stuff; its not a negative though. Quote all the medical problems and I will still do it. Why? Because its what I want to do. The good thing and positivity about it is it helps in my creative writing! lmao.

So remember that everyone has different view points. My positive may be your negative.

Actually it can, if you get really addicted you'll end up spending all your money on it and not on bills and before you know it you'll be living on the streets.

All drugs work in this manner.

You can only get mentally addicted to weed, not physically.

Meaning that even though you think you are addicted, your body could easily go without it and as long as you have a strong mind, the addiction is no harm to you.
This doesn't apply to smoking and drinking and all the other shit though.

Mental addiction is the worst part. Half or more of smokers will tell you it isn't the nicotine, and that its the doing or action of smoking. So in that sense weed is the same as cigerettes. The other thing that makes it more addictive than cigs are the mind altering qualities. If cigs do that to you then I needa know what your smoking. :)

Lol then there would be no point in smoking weed if the person has a strong mind. Clearly the addiction got to them, thats why they smoke pot. Otherwise they wouldn't be smoking it in the first place.

Mental addiction for some is stronger then physical addiction.
