Situation in Baltimore MD

So as some of you may or may not have heard, there are riots going on in Maryland at the moment. Riots over the "debatable" arrest and murder of a man named Freddie Grey. If you'd like some more information, here are some link to a few news articles:
http://www.newyorker.com/news/daily-comment/baltimore-and-the-state-of-american-cities
http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/crime/after-a-night-of-rioting-and-looting-in-baltimore-the-cleanup-begins/2015/04/28/3e57bb50-ed99-11e4-a55f-38924fca94f9_story.html?hpid=z2

Mother catching her son in the riots: https://instagram.com/p/1_i4WBSNGa/

To put things short, everything is going to shit, people [mostly if not completely black people] are destroying, looting and just making fucking chaos in Maryland over what they believe is "justice". My father was just in Baltimore early yesterday-day before yesterday, and managed to leave the state before shit hit the fan. If he hadn't I would have honestly feared for his life, since innocent people are getting dragged into this shit.
Now I am on tumblr frequently, and I of course have already caught a glimpse of the shit people are saying on how this shit is "justified" or how "blacklivematter" but everyone else can basically just die. I am honestly fucking disgusted by this whole situation. I think out of everything I've seen or read about this problem, this is probably the honest response to this situation posted by someone:

You really shouldn't take liberals that seriously.

As for the riots itself, I can only say a few things. First of all, if you look a little bit closer to each of those sensational cases in which a white policeman kills a black man, it's very easy to tell that it wasn't only the policeman's fault. I'm not too much into this particular event of Freddie Grey, but in all other cases when blacks started rioting after a black man got killed it was more then obvious that it all could have been easily avoided if the black man would have just complied to the police officer. Instead, they tried to pull off some stupid shit. The police in those situations was just overreacting at worst. So this whole idea about massive racism and power abuse in police is just ridiculous.
On the other hand, these kind of riots and savagery by blacks also make me have some "controversial" thoughts about them.

I love how white people are rooting the looters on, joining them, sympathizing with their "centuries of oppression and abuse". Police Brutality is a grey area subject, loads of examples of actual brutality/racism and examples of people being stupid toward police, and I quite frankly have no idea what happened to Freddie Grey during transportation to die with so many injuries, but destroying your own town isn't the answer. That's just proving the stereotype of black people. Not to mention Grey had at least 18 previous arrests, so god knows what his motives were.

People are fucking morons when they say "Oh but MLK lead a peaceful protest and he was killed by violence! Peaceful protest does nothing! Violence teaches lessons!". Yeah, and shortly after his death, the rest of America dismantled segregation, proving a peaceful protest can accomplish something. It's actually relieving to see some town citizens protecting the police and cleaning up the mess that looters left. All of this shit started with Trevyon Martin and giving every black person the green card to "NO JUSTICE NO PEACE" in every police-on-black riot, pulling the racism card where ever they go, bringing down society with them.

But come on, fucking up the lives of countless other innocent citizens and business owners? Watching footage of the 1992 Los Angeles riots pisses me off enough knowing that people unwillingly beat the shit out of people that had nothing to do with the problem, this current riot trend is just fucking awful.

Ultimately, the injury stems from a police practice of putting weight on a suspect's neck while handcuffing them. This is done as the officer is temporarily handicapped while reaching for their handcuffs or other restraints, so that the suspect cannot move their head and locate any potential weapons to use on the officer while they only have one hand available. Done properly, the neck and head are rendered immobile but is completely harmless. As a person who has been restrained by the police, the only part of the process that causes any pain is the rubbing of handcuffs on the wrists. However, in the events in Baltimore, there was many breaches of rules. For one, way too much force was put on the neck, causing severe injuries. Secondly, the suspect was not properly strapped in while in the back of the van, worsening the injures as the van moved rather recklessly. Finally, and probably the most negligent and disturbing, the suspect was denied medical treatment after telling cops repeatedly that he was injured.

 tl;dr
Cops were being very negligent, should be punished appropriately.

Also, don't burn down cites, m'kay?

Sure you can peacefully protest, there's nothing wrong in that, but rioting? That's taking things too far. Destruction of property, especially to people not involved, is not equivalent to speaking against a loss of life or excessive force. I really like to know what goes through a rioter's mind when they want to destroy stuff. It sends the wrong and opposite message the peaceful side is trying to portray and is digging themselves in a deeper hole in the eyes of everyone else.

I really appreciate the people that clean up the streets and try to calm the violent guys. Good on them.

To make matters worst, you'll notice that most people that are rioting are more or less all under the age of 30. You have all these fucking bratty kids, who think they're entitled something because of their race. As for the older folks? You'll notice they're generally the ones cleaning up, the ones protesting peacefully, because they know violence won't solve anything. Just like women and feminism. OH BECAUSE WE STRUGGLED ALL OUR LIVES, doing what? Getting the chance to have a public education? Having the opportunity to actually be hired? These are things you wouldn't have been able to have even done 30-40 years ago. Police brutality is also something that effects more than just black people, but only black people tend to get pointed out for what reasons? Because many black people like to associate themselves with violence, with being "thugs".

It's actually kind of ironic that they think they are so targeted by the police, but when you look at statistics, white people actually get arrested for more crimes than black people do (An example being the FBI reports of crime back from 2013: http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2013/crime-in-the-u.s.-2013/tables/table-43) and yet it's all about black lives that matter, because they are the ONLY ones who get picked on, right? I get that you think you're oppressed by the system, that certain statistics are against you, however that doesn't change the fact you have so much more freedom then what you used to have. These movements can never be satisfied, I honestly believe they just have a superiority complex. They will ruin and destroy innocent peoples lives, and for what? "hahah now you know how my ancestors felt years ago" because that's literally all I get out of all of this? There are and always will be bad people in this world, but not everyone is and not everyone deserves to be punished for certain peoples actions. This is the same prejudice they are angry over. This whole situation is shitty and just simply unjustified. And the people who are rooting for them are simply ignorant fools, who don't want to seem like they're racist or prejudice for being against something that is fucking awful just because they're black.

Riots in Baltimore take place at the same time Konami announces that Silent Hills is cancelled, coincidence? I think not.

I just hope all this nonsense doesn't create some sort of perpetual cycle of "entitlement" and "justification" for further havoc, brought up upon people by fairly identical groups "protesting" for some sort of injustice they've confabulated or (for the most part) falsely identified with. I really hope it doesn't come to that, or else I could sit here and create a vague timeline of events that will probably undo just about everything society has done in the last 300something years.

Three words: Self Fulfilling Prophecy.

In action. Perfect example right here, and not the only one that's managed to set back whatever kind of progress anyone perceived themselves making the last time they:

flipped some cars
set flipped cars on fire
broke buildings
looted property
killed people in the name of "Freedom, Justice, and Equality"

I find their lack of vision disturbing, In fact I don't think its worth giving them the benefit of the doubt in that they even have a goal or objective to be met. Furthermore they really are sticking their hands into the open jaws of an alligator, in their futile attempts to instigate the Police into violent confrontation. In reality the police are being kept on a tight leash, and we all know what happens when that leash is taken off.

Baltimore clashes: Cops pepper-spray protester in face at point blank range
Fucken rekt.

Wearing a shirt saying "Fuck the police", walking right up to them, yelling at them to arrest him.  He literally was asking for it.  Granted, that was definitely uncalled for by the cop to spray him like that, and the cop should be punished, but hell, arrest that guy also.
