I'll start by saying that I know that Valve loves to troll and that half of the stuff that shows up about Half-Life 3 is nothing. However, the stars have aligned again (as they have many times before with no results). Next week, on the 5th, Valve is
presenting a panel at the Game Developers Conference on "the future of high-performance graphics". Now, we know that in the past, Valve had used the Half-Life games to showcase their new versions of the Source Engine, so what better way to officially present Source 2 at a "future of high-performance graphics" panel by showcasing it with Half-Life 3? It's what they'd done in the past, so why not now? Of course, this will likely blow over with them simply talking more about their Steam Machines and all, but still. Gotta love me some HL3 conspiracy.
