In all seriousness, I don't think the TTT/ZS server should be replaced unless it has little to no activity.

I hate to see this happen, but I agree, TTT/ZS needs to go. Every time I check, it's empty.

My suggestions:

STRONGHOLD!!!
Sledbuild
Winter Survival
Flood
Minecraft (With a mod to make it so we can have one vanilla map, one ftb map, etc)

How about a dedicated prop hunt server? Sure, there's hundreds out there, but it can bring more players for the better or worse.

Hard to see my old memories when I first started in GMod have to move on, but I think it's for the best since things have changed. I believe a good replacement would be either Minecraft
or Space Engineers(Unless that's already set up or something).

I've successfully lua coded a Zimzam vs Treyboon gamemode, but I don't think that would be very appropriate. Maybe winter survival could have another shot
