I meant the body being revive will disappear too and be a player
Thanks gamefreak!

I dont think current gamers know what a defibrillator is, given its use in video games currently. It really annoys the hell out of me when games so ignorantly add defibrillator, not knowing what they are or do.

Quote from: answers.com
A defibrillator will NOT work if there is no electrical rhythm. If the heart is not beating and has no electrical activity at all (Asystole) then contrary to what happens in the movies, using a defibrillator would be pointless. In this situation, the only thing that can possibly "bring the patient back" is full life-support and cardiac drugs.

If chunks of your heart are outside your body, inside your lungs, and in various other places after taking a C4, fragmentation grenade, or a load of buckshot to the chest, its safe to say there isn't a whole lot of electrical activity going on there.
Or general trauma for that matter, really.

Even for what defibrillators are used for, they rarely work.

lol yeah I find it funny how defibs are portrayed in games. I think games imply that people are "critically wounded". It's just an attempt to restart a dying heart.

Games just add them as a way to revive dead people. Who would spend hours doing surgery in a battlefield. It pops up in television too.

What I dislike more than unrealistic gaming aspects is overly critical players.
It's obvious that they're placed because it's an item that most people can associate some knowledge/familiarity to and can represent the purpose that the virtual object is being used for. Just because it is implemented in such a way doesn't mean that the developers think that such deaths in reality can be cured the same way. What you're saying isn't that much of an eye opener to most people as far as I know any how.

What you're doing is basically identical to criticising a game like ARMA/DayZ because bandages don't actually cure a broken leg. Tbh it doesn't have any place in a suggestion thread.

For the actual suggestion itself even with all points and ideas considered, I don't see how this could be implemented fairly. Unless it was actually a detective only weapon with one use, which will just encourage traitors to hide/burn bodies more as it could help the innocents win late game. If it were implemented that way I think it'd be amusing but it steps a bit far from the way we currently have our TTT I think. If it were to be implemented I'd say it'd also need to be before a minute after the death or something.

I don't mean to be overly critical. In the situation, a defibrillator would do nothing if you're dead, and possibly be counter productive if you're not. Either way, a defibrillator really has nothing to do with what its being proposed for, other than doing this in battlefield and a few other games. You may as well use heparin to treat a major wound.

I personaly don't like the idea. This just doesn't make much sence to me and I don't think this fits TTT well.

Alright guys Deg doesn't like defibrilators so if this is to be implemented I'll be sure to find an operation board model for it first.

But this will break the gameplay. People will intentionally suicide then spectate to find the traitors and spawn again to kill the traitors.
A Man named William Reed's last living testament says that he is going to read his own will.

Will Reed's will will read "Will Reed will read Will Reed's will"

Didnt think about that. That would be horribly gamebreaking.

He means that an innocent can just kill himself, find out who the Traitor is in spectator, then get revived by the detective and kill the T

But this wouldn't really be the case if it was a Traitor only weapon...
