Oh... :/

In recent days, i have noticed strange spots/boils on my hands and feet.

I went to the Doctor, who then visually inspected me and was somewhat bewildered and made an arrangement for an operation to extract a tissue sample from my abdomen. After a terrifying 5 minutes of Victorian needles and a tiny cookie cutter, they stitched me up.

The doctor told me that i had Herpes, but there in odd affected areas which was most likely contacted from my eczema? He gave me some medicine to help combat it but it is a Kind of a shock to my family. Don't know if i should share this with you guys but i just wanted to share.

Conviently my final exams start in 1week so yeah, this is a wonderful time for my body to fuck itself.

(And no i did not have any sexual contact with anyone over the last few weeks)

Oh wow. That sounds very strange and un-good. How much harm does Herpes do?

How interesting, makes me want to go get my head checked out since I have eczema on the back of my head as well and often get blisters and such. It could be is Herpes Zoster (possibly herpes simplex), which is also know as shingles, but I believe this is usually rare and occurs when you're older. It is possible to get herpes with out having sex, though this means its probably hereditary. I wouldn't freak out about it too much, just make sure to treat it properly and you should be okay after awhile.  A lot of people live with the virus and never have any symptoms. :)

Well that's interesting. I have tiny bumps on my three center fingers on my right hand and they're extremely dry and itchy. I looked it up on the internet and it looked to be like pompholyx but my doctor said it was just some eczema on steroids. I'm on antibiotic pills and cream now.

Did he mention what kind of herpes/the full name? 'Herpes' isn't simply an STD, there are many other diseases/viruses that contain 'herpes' in their scientific names, like shingles as Marie mentioned, or cold sores, etc. When you leave it simply at "herpes" it makes it sound like the STD herpes which in this case I highly doubt that's the situation. Though if it were shingles, that may actually not cause many problem. Shingles isn't really a threat to youths. Out of curiosity, have you had chickenpox before? Shingles doesn't necessarily only develop after chickenpox, but it's caused by a variation of the same virus, so those who have had chickenpox (which is a very large majority of the population) are slightly more likely to develop shingles. I think it's extremely rare to get shingles without ever previously having chickenpox, but I could be wrong.

Oh that's a good point. If you haven't had chickenpox yet, that might be what it is, since Shingles is really for older people. Though it isn't impossible for younger people to get it either, it is rare. Either way I'd keep away from people since it is contagious (depending on what it is, and who has had Chickenpox in your family) and clean off things you use.

I did in fact have chickenpox at a young age (toddler) , and yes i do know that Herpes is not just a STD, it's just often passed on through sexual activities as usually the sores/spots/boils appear around the mouth or Private parts

My best guess is that it's shingles, and it's probably hereditary.

Yikes.

Seriously though, I hope your body manages to fight that off really soon.

But is there a cure is my question.

I'll just say quickly that shingles can be painful and discomforting but is highly curable from what I've read/been told. It can only really be a problem in elderly or if it's left untreated in certain circumstances. So you may be in pain but you're definitely not going to die or something. Obviously just use the medication as intended and it'll do you wonders.

I have herpes in my mouth.

It could had been my ex gf or it could had been my sister or my dad sharing food or something with me.

Not a big problem for me, but when it appears it wont go for a week or so.

If you're drinking it hurts like a bitch.

Herpes is not curable since it is a virus. It is treatable, the virus will always be in your body, just be dormant.
