"OMG THE BARRETT IS BROKEN HOW DO I SHOOT?"
I don't really care too much about what you do with it, as long as I don't have to hear people complaining about how it doesn't shoot.

This is only a opinion.
I don't see any problem crouching to shot, this is a sniper rifle that should be used for long range shots, that means there should be no problem if you have a pistol for medium ~ short range.

I saw ppl trying to be a CoD player i guess trying to 360º no scope with it, lol.

As i said, IMO there's no problem with crouching with it is not intended to use medium ~ short range.

In addition: If you pay attention, most of the ppl that use to snipe, they do crouch when aiming and fire action.

Like i said before is just MY OPINION.

Edit: There are different bone segments on the player body, as the same, different damage in each part, 75 is the base damage on Torso, that's the real damage, if you miss shot on arms or legs it causes less damage than intended, makes sense no?, by other way, on head shot it runs by the Head shot multiplier, you have to take that in mind.

Add the ability to fire standing but with either:
1. Much more recoil shooting while standing
2. 5Hp Self inflicted damage per shot while standing
3. User gets pushed back by recoil (similair to a newton launcher blast) while standing

Crouching is unaffected.

I would disagree with any of those changes, all I want is that you wouldn't be required to crouch when firing barrett.

   The current poll results really surprised me seeing as most of people support me in this thread.
   I also don't understand why people want it unchanged, since crouching only causes confusion in-game and makes people to not use that weapon at all, and what good does the crouching give? Makes the gun hard to use? Hard to RDM with? No matter whether or not you're going to need to crouch with it, it will never be as easy to RDM with like it is with m16 or mac10 or even scout, besides if we could just at least temporarily modify it to see how it would actually perform in game, then it would be much more easier for us to decide how it should be, changes can be always reverted after all.

Just as an FYI I have actually shot a gun very similar to a barrett. It didn't have any recoil what so ever. It was however ungodly heavy, so you would need to set it on the bi-pod to shoot it.

A fact I chose to ignore in the game because it's much more fun to go flying backward.

Remove the muzzle brake and it makes more sense lol.

Think about it, this will be used by the players advantage, say you're in a fight infront of the lighthouse in ttt_minecraft, you can just fly backwards and get away.

Also, flying backwards is fun.

Just make a note pop up whenever you pick it up saying that you have to crouch to shoot it.

If Barrett's an insta-kill then I think it's just fine that you need to crouch.

I was reading from the phone and it only showed the last 3 messages, so I thought that was it. Anyway, I think crouching is alright.
 Maybe... just maybe... make the damage higher. Just maybe. Since a shot with that kind of gun anywhere in your torso would probably... kill you.
