intel cpus have better single-threaded performance than amd which is useless for anything besides gaming at this point

as soon as devs pull their heads out of their asses and start coding multi-threaded engines intel will be in the shitter until they step it up

even then amd's best processor has never cost more than $250 as far as i know and intel is the king of overpricing

Now all they sell is that A8 fusion crap that appeals to the laptop market, otherwise the CPU aspect of the APU preforms around the lines of an Athlon II or just barely scrapes ahead of the Phenoms.

Honestly, there is hardly a noticeable difference when it comes to an intel vs AMD in gaming. So might as well get an AMD.
