Tbh I would. I usually demote on the first time if it's simply unjustifiable entirely. So you would need to get good proof/have a good explanation really. Like showing them voting no and their response and such.

In the past when I had that problem, I usually PMed them over steam and asked for an explanation, then took a screenshot if it was a terrible explanation/they were an asshole.
