Mhmm. As best as I can tell so far, it looks like my GPU is... broken I suppose. Bootup screens contain more dollar signs than they do anything else.

The random colors everywhere and distortion happened to my GTX 260 a few times, caused by overheating. Was only temporary though, nothing permanent, although in your case I suppose that sucks. Might wanna try putting a temperature gauge on your heatsink or using software to determine it's temperature to see if that's actually the problem. When it happened to mine it was around 100C.

It boots to dollar signs so I doubt its overheating. If it were to the point it overheated that rapidly, it would be complete toast by the time it gets to the windows screen I would think. a GM from the msi forums said it was plenty reason for a return, so thats what Im simply going to do, rather than fiddle with it

Those thick bezels don't disturb you? If I were you, I would try to remove the bezels and put the monitors on a VESA mount. Especially since they were free =P
