Gears of war?.....I don't know, just found that game fun aside from all the kids, l33t pr0 try-hards, and completely stupid physics.

Fallout 3 + all dlc's
and one of my friends gave me her copy of Fable 3

I think thats a good start...

Planning to get red dead redemption heard good things about that game.

Damn right it's amazing, there's only one thing I'm not satisfied with...
The multiplayer is fun with friends... if there are still players on it. Bioshock 1 is also a favourite, and it's cheap.

The memories of Halo 3. We'd get into a massive group of 16 and play custom games.

Well if you're into racing, go with what Deacon said and get Forza 3. But first you wanna aim to get Forza 4, because usually they pack all the dlc cars from previous games into the current one. Especially the DeLorean.

Or Call of Duty: World at War (It was before the series turned to total shit with MW2 and up)
