Killing contest gaming, skillful gaming, hardcore gaming yes but statistically speaking the amount of new gamers and general sales Microsoft has created with its recent piles of crap has only expanded the gaming industry. Yes it sucks for all of us who have been playing since we were 6-8 because we still look upon the core values of gaming not how fun blowing up people with whatever stupid rocket launcher variant is in the game. Long story short games are no longer for "gamers" by the definition we know it they're now entirely "noob" friendly.
