My friend has one of those and it has shitty ass reception which defeats the whole purpose of having a cell phone in the first place... to make phone calls! I guess I'm old fashion but all i want my phone to do is make a dam phone call when i want it to... i don't need no Fancy phone with internet or an mp3 player... I'll just keep with my basic flip phone...

And the battery life on those things sucks balls because of all the shit in there you're lucky if you don't have to charge it every night... Whereas all my phone does is make calls and text and my battery lasts a good week.

But then again i grew up in the generation where we all wanted Pagers and we didn't have these fancy phones... So thats probably why i never cared for them... Hmm maybe I should go dig out my old pager and see if i can bring those back into style LMAO
You know, signal reception can many times be an issue of the company.

Hey guys, I just had a really long conversation with the guy about the Alienware m11x. I went through and censored his name again. Also, several times in this conversation we mention a 14" laptop on newegg that I linked him: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152298

SuicidalKitty: so
SuicidalKitty: I'm talking about our whole m11x argument
SuicidalKitty: on a forum
SuicidalKitty: and someone wanted me to pass this message on
SuicidalKitty: ""I am a game dev, so I need very specific attributes, CPU not being one of them."
As someone that doesnt have a dick in his skull going through his ears, the **Central** processing unit... might be important.
Really. I mean fuck. If i could slap a 590 in my w95, doesnt mean it would be useful"
Him: You arleady said this.
SuicidalKitty: yeah, but you didn't have time for it
Him: Because you are, at this point, out of knowledge, and need to go to other people in order to convice me.
Him: Which I dissapprove of.
SuicidalKitty: You're out of knowledge as well, which is why you're trying to avoid answering this
Him: No, I just already went other this with you.
Him: The specific tasks I perform either require RAM or GPU, but are not (normally) too largely influenced by the CPU.
SuicidalKitty: I thought you wanted to game on your new laptop?
SuicidalKitty: CPU is pretty important for gaming
Him: If I do, it will be rare.
Him: Mainly for modelling and programming.
SuicidalKitty: If you're only going to game rarely, what's the point of getting an incredibly overpriced and bulky laptop?
Him: It ain't bulky.
Him: 4 pounds is not bulky.
SuicidalKitty: 6 pounds
Him: No.
Him: 4.
SuicidalKitty: that's still a lot for a laptop
SuicidalKitty: and the width
Him: And 11 inches greatly reduces bulk.
Him: I know you are a Knight Templar, but you have to let it go.
SuicidalKitty: if you bought a 14" laptop for $300 less, with better hardware, you could buy a new bag with the savings.
Him: I don't buy bags, though.
Him: Because I do not need too.
SuicidalKitty: why?
Him: And said laptop would not fit my size requirements.
Him: Because I have a backpack for that reason.
Him: Either that or I will just carry it.
SuicidalKitty: I'm sure a 14" laptop would fit your bag
Him: This backpack contains more than a bag.
Him: laptop*
Him: It also contains my collection of programming books.
Him: A sketchbook,
Him: and whatever else I feel like putting in there.
SuicidalKitty: Why do you need to keep all your programming books in your backpack if you already know all the programming languages?
Him: References.
SuicidalKitty: couldn't you just go online?
Him: Not at all times.
Him: Dur.
Him: And 'online' will never match the quality of a book I payed for.
SuicidalKitty: but, do you need all your books all the time, and do you have to program all the time, 24/7?
Him: Yes.
Him: To both.
SuicidalKitty: how often do you travel?
Him: Normally I travel somewhere where I need my laptop at least three times a week, normal around 10.
SuicidalKitty: how big is your current laptop?
Him: Dunno. Never had it measured.
Him: Nor asked.
SuicidalKitty: and you can fit that in your bag?
Him: I don't.
Him: I carry it.
SuicidalKitty: why not carry a 14" laptop?
SuicidalKitty: it's cheaper
SuicidalKitty: lighter
SuicidalKitty: has better performance
Him: And does not fit my needs.
Him: So fuck off.
SuicidalKitty: It's better than the m11x
SuicidalKitty: also
SuicidalKitty: you never answered my question
Him: Better is defined by perspective.
SuicidalKitty: why not carry the 14"
SuicidalKitty: ?
Him: Because I could have something I DON'T need to carry.
SuicidalKitty: I think when you save $200, and get a nicer laptop, it'd be worth it to carry it
Him: I don't think you get it.
Him: I have requirements, and what you are suggesting does not fit them.
SuicidalKitty: why?
Him: BATTERY FUCKING LIFE.
Him: gOD.
Him: God*.
SuicidalKitty: what if the 14" had optimus?
Him: Then it would almost fit my requirements.
SuicidalKitty: what are the rest of your requirements?
Him: There are no more other than being decently capable of pushing graphics.
Him: Except that, 'better performance' will always come at a cost of battery life.
SuicidalKitty: only if the gpu was better
Him: CPU counts also, genius.
SuicidalKitty: to you it doesn't
SuicidalKitty: you said you don't need a good cpu
Him: In terms of battery life, it does.
Him: If I have an unnescessarily powerful CPU, it wastes energy.
SuicidalKitty: The m11x has a shitty cpu. my phone almost has a faster cpu than it
Him: Cool.
SuicidalKitty: what if you could save $200 and get almost the same laptop with a better cpu?
SuicidalKitty: sounds like a deal to me.
SuicidalKitty: even if I have to carry it, or buy a bigger backpack
Him: I don't care what it sounds like to you.
SuicidalKitty: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152298
SuicidalKitty: Just because the m11x looks sexy, that doesn't mean it performs like a baws
Him: I know what the FUCKING THING IS, WHY CAN'T YOU FUCKING ACCEPT THAT?
Him: Move on with your fucking life, and stay out of mine.
SuicidalKitty: I'm just trying to save you money and get you better performance
SuicidalKitty: no need to lose your shit on me
Him: You are pushing this shit when I have already said, 'I know what I am getting into.'
SuicidalKitty: don't be so single-minded, acknowledge other suggestions
SuicidalKitty: when people provide suggestions, they're not doing that to piss you off, they're doing that to help you
Him: I already told you I know what I need.
Him: You are not considering MY position.
SuicidalKitty: you want good performance, small screen size, and large battery life
SuicidalKitty: and something portable
SuicidalKitty: first of all
SuicidalKitty: all laptops are portable
SuicidalKitty: if one's slightly too big
SuicidalKitty: carry it if you have to
Him: You know what, just forget it.
SuicidalKitty: if you want performance, the m11x doesn't even meet the minimum requirements of most of today's games
SuicidalKitty: alright
SuicidalKitty: i'll drop it
SuicidalKitty: but don't come crying to me when you realize you bought a $1000 piece of shit

-Narc or bullshitting
--Him: If I have an unnescessarily powerful CPU, it wastes energy.
-2430m is a sandybridge series CPU. That shit is 35w TDP. Any fuckwad jr high computer elec student would know that a sandybridge makes a lightbulb look like a goddamn machine shop.

We  never mentioned the incident where he told us the MX11 was better because he said it had an "EU CPU/Processor chip". True story. He also claimed he installed mechanical-keyswitches on a laptop (google mechanical keyboard) which is impossible. And every time I asked him for a picture "Sorry, I don't have a camera". But then a day or two later. "I am writing a book using an iPhone 4"
