I have a basic electric guitar.
Bought it at a yard sale my neighbors were having for $90.
Bought the amp from a pawn shop for a cheap $50.

I pick it up every once in a while and stroke strum the strings. Kinda relaxing just to play basic chords on a quiet night in my room.

Will Reed's will will read "Will Reed will read Will Reed's will"

It's an ion. I don't know the exact specifications/model #. I assumed that almost all guitars were the same and I grabbed an image that looked similar to mine.
Here's the actual picture:

And it looks like the image for the amp disappeared:

Marshal MG15

Although, mine has a constant yet light sound of static and can have trouble turning on.

To fix the static you might just have to mess around with what pick-ups you use. Can help a lot. That and getting a higher quality patch cord Of course, it could also just be your amp though lol.

Stratocaster style. Not original Fender Stratocaster. Mine's a strat style too. The strat style doesn't necessarily mean it's more valuable. Just a different style with different pickups and such.

Strats give you a twangy, rhythmic rock sound. If you switch to the neck pickup, you get nice, flavorful blues. If you use the middle + bridge position, you can get something sounding like Eric Clapton.

And Alkaline, you get that light hum because those are single coil pickups, common on a strat anything. You can eliminate the hum by swapping out one of them for humbuckers, which are 2 single coil pickups together in one, to give you a hard, crunchy, rock sound with the hum eliminated.

Didn't know that the humbuckers eliminated any ringing. Well any ways... It's kind of difficult to switch a humbucker into a strat guitar isn't it? Unless you get a special humbucker or something to fit strats... but they're a decent size bigger... so doesn't that mean you need a larger hole for the pickup? Or is just a portion of the humbuckers resting on top of the body/pickguard? If so... I may actually switch out one of my pickups for a humbucker. They can be hard to switch on your own though...

Eeyup, that's why they're called "humbuckers", they cancel out that light humming sound.

Well usually the pickups are mounted on the pickguard, unlike other guitars. I think a standard American Strat (Fender at least) have a humbucker slot mounted on their body. You do need to get a H-S-S pickguard a long with the humbucker. If your body doesn't have it, you can always buy and swap out a single coil-sized humbucker, like a DiMarzio.
